The research community in Montreal had a chance to hear exciting lectures about the latest trends in neuroscience thanks to a joint symposium by three institutions in Canada, Israel and Italy.
The First Joint 捆绑SM社区-Hebrew University of Jerusalem-EBRI Symposium brought leading experts from 捆绑SM社区, the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (The Neuro), the Hebrew University at Jerusalem/Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada, and the (EBRI) to the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre from June 18 to 19. The symposium was a great chance for researchers to learn about the latest work being done in their field, and find opportunities for new collaborations with international partners.
It was also a valuable chance for students and post-doctoral researchers to network and expand their horizons.
The symposium was in part a result of previous meetings between researchers at 捆绑SM社区 and The Hebrew University. In 2017 捆绑SM社区 researchers attended a similar symposium in Jerusalem and this year it is 捆绑SM社区鈥檚 turn to host.
There were three main themes, Development and Dysfunction of Neuro Circuits, Mechanics of Neural Degeneration, and Cognition and Behavior. Presenters included Enrico Cherubini (EBRI), Avihu Klar (HUJ), Artur Kania (IRCM, 捆绑SM社区), Oded Behar (HUJ), Enrico Cherubini (EBRI), Anne McKinney (捆绑SM社区), Stuart Trenholm (捆绑SM社区), Silvia Marinelli (EBRI), Carl Ernst (捆绑SM社区), Thomas Durcan (捆绑SM社区), Jean-Francois Trempe (捆绑SM社区), Ronit Sharon (HUJ), Ivan Arisi (EBRI), Austen Milnerwood (捆绑SM社区), Josh Goldberg (HUJ), Raffaella Scardigli (EBRI), Veronique Bohbot (捆绑SM社区), Shahar Arzy (HUJ), Giovanni Meli (EBRI), Edith Hamel (捆绑SM社区), Antonino Cattaneo (EBRI), Mara D鈥橭nofrio (EBRI), Wayne Sossin (捆绑SM社区), Corinna Giorgi (EBRI), Ithai Rabinowitch (HUJ), Michael Hendricks (捆绑SM社区), Marco Canossa (EBRI), Amir Amedi (HUJ), Marilena Griguoli (EBRI), Yonatan Kupchik (HUJ), and Lesley Fellows (捆绑SM社区).
