Hands-on Workshop in Micro and Nanobiotechnology
The ISS Program is pleased to announce that the “Soft Lithography” workshop: Hands-on Workshop in Micro and Nanobiotechnology will be offered this year! This workshop will be held the week of March 4 and has a variable schedule to allow you to best organize your time:
The Micro and Nanobioengineering Group at SM is offering its annual Hands-on Workshop in Micro and Nanobiotechnology, for scientists and engineers from any discipline who would like to learn more about microfabrication, soft lithography, and microfluidics, as well as the surrounding biotechnology. No background knowledge of the field is required! Our participants will gain hands-on experience in several areas including photolithography, microfluidic immunoassays, and microcontact printing. This should be of particular interest to biomedical researchers, chemists, and physicists, as well as biomedical, mechanical, chemical, and materials engineers. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hot area of research, network with like-minded individuals from a variety of scientific disciplines, and learn about the wide range of opportunities available in the field of micro and nanotechnology!
