Launch of the 捆绑SM社区-Western Collaboration Grant Program

's investment of $150 million in 捆绑SM社区's Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives (HBHL) and Western University's marks a pivotal step that will unlock the mysteries of the human mind and lay the groundwork for a pan-Canadian network of collaboration that promises to uncover new ways to treat, prevent and cure brain disorders.听

捆绑SM社区 and Western University have developed the 捆绑SM社区-Western Collaboration Grant听Program to support impactful research that leverages this unique HBHL and BrainsCAN collaboration.

These grants are designed to potentiate cross-institution, multidisciplinary teams of HBHL and BrainsCAN researchers. They听will support:

  • transformational research in neuroscience and neuroinformatics
  • new and established collaborative teams
  • all project types (discovery-based science to end-user translational research) and sizes (smaller foundation projects to multi-year programs)

Eligibility criteria

  • Proposed projects must clearly contribute to the strategic priorities of HBHL and BrainsCAN.
  • Each project must be led by a research team composed of one 捆绑SM社区 AND one Western faculty member. These researchers must hold an eligible academic appointment with a significant research component.
