Program Description
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in German (Thesis) offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in the Faculty of Arts is a research-intensive program that emphasizes rigorous and proactive learning opportunities. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in cutting-edge thinking, literature synthesis, and presentation to either continue their studies or pursue professional opportunities.

Unique Program Features
- The program offers students the opportunity to specialize in literature, intellectual history, film, media, and/or digital humanities;
- Students spend time abroad in Germany and Austria in addition to taking part in conference and workshop organization. The Department is connected with notable facilities and resources, including the Moving Image Research Laboratory;
- Upon graduation, many students are usually trilingual (or even quadrilingual) and some go on to pursue careers in various cultural and economic branches in Europe.
