Research interests:听
My research interests lie at the intersection of culture, communication, and serious illness, with a focus on promoting authentic healing relationships. I work in qualitative and mixed-methods. I am one of three principal investigators in the Virtual Communications Research Lab, in which we use virtual technologies to study the emotional and cognitive impact of verbal, non-verbal, and environmental aspects of communication.
