Alex M. Mlynarek MD, MSc, FRSCS, is an assistant professor at the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at À¦°óSMÉçÇø. Dr. Mlynarek specializes in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, skin cancer as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Mlynarek's research interests are functional outcomes and quality of life in head and neck cancer patients, as well as the discovery of biomarkers for head and neck cancer. He has published his research in numerous peer reviewed journals. He continues to attend and present his research at conferences locally, nationally and internationally.
He has a clinical practice at the Jewish General Hospital, the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Montreal General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
