The Dental Medicine Preparatory Qualifying Year (DENT-P) pathway is open to immediate graduates of the Quebec Collegial (CEGEP) system. It is not open to university-level students, or to students outside Qu茅bec.听
The DENT-P Year combines a preparatory year in the Faculty of Sciences followed by the four year DMD program in the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences. The objective of the Dent-P Year is to offer students the opportunity to adapt to university-level academics before entering the rigorous curriculum of the DMD program.
The听DENT-P Year consists of two consecutive semesters of a Bachelor of Science-style curriculum. Students are officially registered in the Faculty of Science during their preparatory year and must complete the required courses and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 to continue on to the DMD program.听
Admission to our DENT-P Year opens on September 5th.
