This year's event will recognize women everywhere, their dreams and struggles, their resilience and achievements. The theme of the event —ÌýWoman, Life, Freedom —Ìý¾±²õ .
In addition to Professor Shariff, other invited speakers include Safia Amiry, PhD student and iMPACTS research assistant; Aram Alborzi, Canadian with Iranian roots and architect by training; and Baharan Baniahmadi, Iranian-Canadian actress and author.ÌýThe event will include presentations, bilingual exchanges, roundtable discussions, and closing remarks.
