Recreating home, school, community partnership for First Nations and Inuit academic achievement
This SSHRC-funded project adapts the Developing Families Project strategy of bringing together systems, strategies, and curricula sensitive to the educational levels and culture of rural and peri-urban South Africa as a vehicle for community engagement, support, and advocacy for quality education. This grassroots approach will guide development of a research project in Canada focused on academic achievement and retention of Indigenous secondary school students.
