About Albert Caponi
Albert Caponi is a senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in various industries including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Airports, Manufacturing, Telecom, Professional Services and other industries. Prior to joining Scale AI, he held several positions, including, CFO of Montreal’s Trudeau Airport, after serving many years as the Finance Head of À¦°óSMÉçÇø. Following 10 years of Consulting and Advisory services with Deloitte & Touche Ross, Albert joined a North American plastic manufacturing company as their CFO, which had just been acquired by a US venture capital group. He is a chartered accountant (CPA) by training and serves on Corporate and Advisory Boards, including start-ups in the AI space.
About John Gradek
John Gradek has variously been a lecturer, a headhunter, an amateur chef and a businessperson. He holds three degrees, a Bachelor of Science from Université de Montreal (Loyola), a Bachelor of Engineering from Carleton University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario (Ivey).
At À¦°óSMÉçÇø, he is a Faculty Lecturer and Academic Program Coordinator of the Supply Chain and Supply Networks programs as well as the Aviation Management Program. John currently lectures in both the Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics as well as in the Graduate Certificate in Dynamic and Integrated Supply Networks.
His business experience includes his current activities as an advisor to GSS in Laval, one of the world's leading artificial intelligence and digital twin developers. John is also a member of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada, a quasi-judicial federal body adjudicating decisions made by Transport Canada. John previously held the position of CEO of Synergy Technologies, a technology development firm focusing on synthetic fuels and heavy oil upgrading. He was in senior management roles at Canadian Pacific Railway in Asset Management and Network Design as well as senior roles at Air Canada in operations, marketing and planning. John has worked in the development and the delivery of commercial airline management programs for the International Aviation Management Training Institute as well as for the IATA Aviation MBA program at Concordia University.
About Marc-Olivier Gaudreault
Marc-Olivier Gaudreault draws on over 12 years of experience to excel as a Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations Leader at Deloitte. His career shows his depth of expertise in manufacturing process optimization, digital transformation and implementation of innovative strategies in the manufacturing industry. About Valerie Myers
With a career spanning 30 years in high-tech manufacturing, the last 16 of which in aerospace, Valerie has a track record of devising high efficiency supply chains and delivering profitable growth.
At CAE Inc., she serves as Senior Director, Global Supply Chains & Sustainability where, upon joining in 2021 amidst a pandemic-induced shortage economy, led a 4X increase in supply chain output. In 2022, recognizing the central role that Supply Chain plays in CAE’s sustainability mission, Valerie stood up the Sustainability organization with a focus on industry ecosystems and decarbonization of the value chain.
Her prior role as the B787 Program Director at Alcoa led to the creation of a Program Office where, as Senior Director, Strategic Programs, Valerie had full P&L ownership of programs in automotive, defense and aviation. Valerie was accountable for customer relations, business development, end to end value stream design and execution. Valerie held various leadership roles at Pratt & Whitney Canada in Supply Management, including supplier quality.
Valerie holds a BA from Concordia University and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business.
