À¦°óSMÉçÇø’s School of Continuing Studies’ SEED Initiative can help you gain the skills and knowledge required to meaningfully contribute to the labour market.
The session will provide a comprehensive overview of the SEED initiative, which aims to help newcomers, immigrants and others experiencing barriers to career advancement develop the skills needed to succeed.
SEED initiative participants will be supported by:
- Free tuition and support services
- Paid internships (optional)
- Stipends based on individual need and academic standing (optional)
- Career, Program and Wellness Advising
- Mentorship & Networking Events
- Professional Transition Workshops
- Soft Skills Training
Who should attend:
- Individuals seeking to improve their job prospects and economic situation
- Newcomers and new immigrants
- Must be 21+
- Must have proof of citizenship/residency/work permit which allows study
- A good command of English is required in order to perform well in courses and complete the program, but proof of proficiency will not be required
