Vincent Larivi猫re awarded a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship

Vincent Larivi猫re, doctoral candidate at the School of Information Studies, has been awarded a two-year postdoctoral fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). The value is $38,000 per annum plus a research allowance of up to $5,000. 聽 Vincent鈥檚 postdoctoral project consists of an historical analysis of the relationship between scientific disciplines. 聽 This postdoctoral research will be conducted under the direction of Katy B枚rner, Victor H. Yngve Professor of Information Science at the School of Library and Information Science, Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and in collaboration with Professor Yves Gingras, Canada Research Chair in History and Sociology of Science, Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al. 聽Vincent was previously awarded the 2009 Eugene Garfield Dissertation Scholarship from the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics.
