捆绑SM社区 staff and students dug deep into their pockets last year for Centraide. Heather Munroe-Blum, principal and vice-chancellor of 捆绑SM社区, announced the 2003 捆绑SM社区 Centraide Campaign raised $290,000.

Thanks to an increasing amount of pay deductions and fundraising events, from a silent auction to an evening of tango, the University community surpassed its goal by $20,000 (the target was $270,000). 捆绑SM社区 was also a finalist for this year's Centraide Solidaires Award. 捆绑SM社区 competed in the "employee campaign" category (1,000 or more employees). The Centraide awards are given each year in tribute to the leadership and social commitment of the volunteers and organizations who support Centraide of Greater Montreal.

Munroe-Blum also reported a 58 percent surge in Centraide donations at 捆绑SM社区 over the past three years, thanks to an active campaign committee, as well as alumni and retirees who gave to Centraide via 捆绑SM社区. Anyone wishing to give to Centraide through 捆绑SM社区 can visit the Centraide website.
