Marianne Hardy-Dussault and Val茅rie Simard winners of the AQDC writing contest
On April 24, 2009, the Qu茅bec Society of Comparative Law (AQDC) held its annual symposium at 捆绑SM社区鈥檚 Faculty of Law, under the theme of La circulation des mod猫les juridiques: Th猫me classique, r茅alit茅s contemporaines. Part of the proceedings included announcing the winners of the AQDC鈥檚 2008-2009 writing contest for undergraduate and graduate students, who this year turned to be two 捆绑SM社区 Law students.
LLM student Marianne Hardy-Dussault won the Graduate prize for her Master鈥檚 thesis 芦 Le port de signes religieux dans les 茅tablissements publics d'enseignement qu茅b茅cois et fran莽ais: une libert茅, deux mod猫les 禄, which was written under the supervision of Professor Colleen Sheppard.
In turn, BCL/LLB student Val茅rie Simard won the Undergraduate prize for her essay, "Liberalizing the Ownership of Legal Service Providers: In the Public Interest", which she wrote under the supervision of Professor Wendy A. Adams.
The Faculty of Law warmly congratulates them both for their contributions to comparative law.
