What is the job of the researcher in the field of science and engineering? What are the major听challenges?听Survival Skills for Scientists听is an applied session from the book 听, co-authored by听补苍诲听, respectively Professor and Professor Emeritus of听of INRS.
Survival Skills for Scientists workshop will address key questions essential to the professional development of science and engineering students as well as tackle issues that are normally overlooked in a conventional university setting. Participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations by leading scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs on a wide range of topics and partake in focused discussion groups moderated by eminent scholars.
These scientists, presenters, and moderators, work in fields as diverse as nanotechnology, space exploration , biotechnology, the creation of high-tech startups, and scientific communication. Throughout the course of the workshop, they will share their journeys, their path to success and how they survived in their chosen fields. They will also discuss their primary sources of inspiration and future vision for the next generation of scientists and engineers.
